Email exposing aspcro
Look at who this email was sent to.
How is this not a blatant conflict of interest?

I am currently serving as the President of ASPCRO. Thank you for reaching out to our group. We appreciate your interest in speaking at our meeting in Orlando, FL this April. Our Bylaws state that our meeting’s speakers are invitation only and we have already finalized our Agenda for this meeting.
I hope you have a wonderful day, sir.
2/1/26 my response to ASPCRO.
That's disappointing. Maybe I'll be invited to speak at the next one, now that I'm a member.
How can I become a sponsor? Do you have a list of sponsors?

3/19/26- My response to ASPCRO refunding my money for the tickets
I’m a paid member of ASPCRO.
There was an error, please charge the cards again and register us. We are most definitely “interested in the subject of structural pest management and pesticide regulation.”
As per
https://aspcro.org/meetings-events/
This meeting should be attended by anyone interested in the regulation of the Structural Pest Control industry including local, state, and federal officials charged with the regulation of pesticide use within their respective jurisdictions, members of the regulated industry, pesticide safety educators from cooperative extension and private enterprises, and anyone interested in the subject of structural pest management and pesticide regulation.

Dear Member of the Public, Grower, or Farmer,
Thank you so much for your interest in attending the Association of Structural Pest Control Regulatory Officials’ (ASPCRO) Mid-Year Meeting, to be held in Orlando, Florida on April 21, 2026 . As you might be aware, ASPCRO is for State Lead Agencies who regulate the Federal Insecticide, Fungicide, and Rodenticide Act (FIFRA), pest management professionals, and members of industry who are pesticide registrants and manufacturers.
Unfortunately, our registration process does not discern between individuals who meet ASPCRO’s membership criteria and those individuals who do not, and so your registration was processed in error. Due to this error, we will be refunding your registration payment. You should see this refund reflected on your credit card statement within the next couple of days.
Thank you for your understanding.

You made a mistake, please do not refund my ticket or Bridget Saunders’ ticket.

From me to ASPCRO
Good morning,
I'm confused, do these emails mean we are allowed to attend? I'm very interested in the subject of structural pest management and pesticide regulation.
From ASPCRO to me
Sorry for the confusion, but the ASPCRO President has confirmed that you are unable to attend.
Enjoy your day.
Good morning,
No, sir. Because of the system error that allowed you to register, you automatically received this additional email. Apologies for the misunderstanding.
From me to ASPCRO
Why does your website say anyone interested can attend?
4/26/26 from me to ASPCRO
Why am I being ignored? Please answer my questions. I would like to know why my fiance and I were discriminated against.

Hello Mr. Costa,
I appreciate your interest in attending ASPCRO events. As you are probably aware, our Mid-Year Meeting, which was held in Florida on 04/21/26, is only attended by a small portion of our membership engaged in particular pesticide-related areas, and the Meeting is not open to the broader membership. Our Annual Meeting, which will be held in Colorado Springs, CO this August, is open to a broader spectrum of those involved in pesticide-related activities. Should you fit our intended audience, then you would be able to attend our Annual Meeting if you wanted to pay the registration fee.
Can you please explain how you fit ASPCRO’s demographic as either a state regulator or a pesticide manufacturer/registrant/licensed company? I am not familiar with your work in these fields and am interested in your thoughts.
I also see that, before we alerted you that you do not fit our intended membership base for the Mid-Year Meeting, you signed up for the Rodenticide Committee. Are you involved in rodenticide policy and regulation? I am not aware of your involvement at the state or national level in rodenticide policy or regulation.
I’m looking forward to hearing back from you.
